Preppy clothes

Image
Wears, but is not limited to, Polo, Lilly, Brooks Brothers, Lacoste, LL Bean (ie duck boots), ribbon belts, prints (ie cords with embroidered whales, palm trees, etc), sweaters tied around the neck, collar always popped, looks neat and put together. Hair ribbons or ribbon headbands, pearls, and other classic jewelry pull the look together. Preppies are partial to monogrammed and engraved items (ie tote bags, oxford shirts, jewelry, money clips, etc). Colors are always brite (favorites include pink and lime green). Preppies may not always match EXACTLY but they are always coordinated. Hats are worn (ie polo player, Lacoste, Brooks Brothers), but they are unique- not designs you would see in the mainstream and the "mall".

Preppies often attend prep schools (ie Middlesex School, Governor Dummer Academy, and Belmont Hill) followed by New England private colleges.

What Your Type of Handbag Uncovers

What Your Type Of Handbag Uncovers:

What you take along with you-just in case you might need them-and in what type of handbag you place them can be quite self descriptive.

Activity Handbag:

Taking with you lots of reading material and other things to do, and actually being admired by others for putting every spare moment to a practical use , if the true meaning behind you taking these objects are to take advantage of the time that has been allotted to you, then you have an intelligent way of cutting all kinds of corners in your life. Nevertheless, if the true purpose behind all of this paraphenalia is to avoid where you are holding in your life, it is actually a means of escape.

Bookbag or Knapsack:

You have more foresight than others.

Business Contents:

Possessing checkbooks, pens, stamps, etc., you are quite business oriented, now try being more people oriented.

Cluttered:

A definite busybody, you take people’s telephone numbers at random and place them in your bag amongst all the debris…

you wanna dye your own hair ?

Image
To dye or not to dye ? It's an age-old question. Bleach-happy Ancient Greek heroes reddened their hair into a fiery symbol of courage, while their Roman counterparts used natural dyes to darken their locks. During the 1700s, French women used powder to tint their tresses shades of blue, yellow, pink and white (punk rock pioneers). Today, about half of all American women color their hair, and men are getting in on the game in record numbers.

Due to high salon prices (or temporary bouts of creativity), more and more people are dyeing their own hair. You've seen these people walking around-they can usually be identified by tufts of fried orange hair peeking out from beneath large hats. But a home-hair-colorist's best weapons against hair dye mishaps are careful planning and knowledge. So whether you're trying to bring back the color of your youth or are simply interested in trying something new, SoYouWanna.com is happy to help you dye your own hair.

Instead of being too tight or too loose, they are usually just right. This can help accentuate your full figured body in a great way.

Do you have a more athletic body type ? Do you have muscular thighs with a narrower waist ? The suggested jean for the athletic body type is low-rise. These help show your fit body off. You could even consider wearing skinny jeans if you wanted to bring out your curves.

Do you have more a curvy body type? Many people that think of 'curvy' think of an hourglass figure. This rings true sometimes. If you want to bring out your curves consider wearing skinny or tapered jeans. …

To step out of the house in perfect look is what everybody desires. However, it is also true that in spite of several options of dressing, jeans seem to be the appropriate choice for most of the woman. It would also be a daring comment to say in today's date, a huge percentage of women don't like to wear jeans. Instead, the fact would stand otherwise. In fact, almost every lady would possess a pair of jeans in her wardrobe. Clothing oneself is also definitely an art. This is particularly because the entire personality of an individual is based upon the dressing style. Thus, you should be pretty wise to understand what would actually suit you and yes h…
