What is the Red and Green Diet ??

The different days

On the slimming world diet you have a Red day (Original day) and a Green day, I call a Red day a meat day and I call a Green day a rice and pasta day.

Red days, on a Red day you can eat as much meat as you want to but you can have only limited amounts of rice, pasta, beans, bread, dried canned and cooked fruit and cereals.

Green days, when on a green day you can eat as much pasta, rice, potatoes, beans, eggs, but you can have only limited amounts of meat, fish, nuts, bread, cheese and cereals.

Whichever day you are on you will be able to have Free foods on a Red day they consist of vegetables, fruit, meat and fish, on a Green day they are fruit, vegetables, rice, pasta, potatoes.

Each day you are able to have healthy extra’s on a Red day they are Beans, soup, cereal, bread these have to be measured out and you can only have 2 of these a day, on a Green day they are, Meat, cheese, bread, cereal, nuts and fish.
